Clinical Setup in Veetz: A Complete Overview

The Clinical Setup area in Veetz is where you prepare these foundations — once — so your whole team benefits every day.

Who can access this area?

Clinical Setup is available to members of a Veetz subscription. A few sensitive actions, such as deleting a vaccine from the registry, are reserved for administrators.

Finding the Clinical Setup Menu​

From the main dashboard, look at the left-hand sidebar, click on Veterinary, and then on Clinical Setup. The menu expands to reveal the tools described below.

Anamnesis Template​

Define the questions that matter in your clinical interviews — once. Whenever you write a new anamnesis, Veetz can insert your question list automatically, formatted and ready to fill in during the consultation.

Vaccine Protocols​

The heart of vaccination control in your practice. It contains two registries:

  • Vaccines: Register every vaccine you work with — name, manufacturer, type, dosage, composition, indications, side effects, and storage conditions. This registry powers each patient's digital vaccination card, complete with batch tracking and next-dose scheduling.
  • Application Methods: Standardize how vaccines are administered (subcutaneous, intramuscular, oral, and so on), with instructions your whole team can follow.

Prescription Setup​

Build your medication library: active ingredients, laboratories, veterinary or human classification, controlled-medication flags, and clinical reference notes. When it's time to prescribe, you pick a medication from the library and Veetz even calculates the dose per application based on the patient's weight.
