Veetz Connect Quick Start Guide

Welcome to Veetz Connect, your premier platform for veterinary communication and collaboration. This quick start guide will walk you through the basic steps to get you up and running, connecting you with colleagues, friends, and experts in the veterinary field.

1. Accessing Veetz Connect​

  • Sign In: Open Veetz Connect and enter your login credentials. If you don't have an account yet, select "Sign Up" to create one.
  • Navigate the Dashboard: Familiarize yourself with the user interface. You'll find options for messaging, groups, settings, and more.

2. Sending a Friendship Invite​

  • Find Friends: Use the search bar to find colleagues or classmates. You can search by name, specialty, or location.
  • Send Invite: Click on the profile of the person you wish to connect with and select "Send Friendship Invite."

3. How to Chat and Interact with a Friend​

  • Start a Chat: Once your friendship invite is accepted, open a chat window by selecting their name from your friend list.
  • Interact: Share updates, ask questions, or simply catch up. Veetz Connect provides a seamless way to maintain professional relationships and build new ones.

4. Sending an Attachment​

  • Attach Files: In any chat window, click on the attachment icon (usually represented by a paperclip) and select the file you wish to share.
  • Send: Once selected, click "Send." You can share images, documents, and even videos relevant to your discussions.

5. Using AI for Predicted Responses​

  • Activate AI: In the chat window, you may notice the AI icon. Click it to activate AI-assisted responses.
  • Use AI Suggestions: The AI will suggest responses based on the context of the conversation. This feature is especially useful for quickly answering common questions or providing information.

6. Creating Teams and Groups​

  • Create Group: From the main menu, select the option to create a new group or team. You'll be prompted to name the group and invite members.
  • Collaborate: Use groups for specific discussions, case studies, or to share news and research within your field of interest.

7. Accepting Invites​

  • Notification: When someone sends you a group invite or a friendship request, you'll receive a notification.
  • Accept Invite: Open the notification and select "Accept" to join the group or confirm the friendship.

8. Blocking Friends​

  • Privacy Settings: If for any reason you need to block a connection, you can do so by visiting their profile, selecting "More Options," and then "Block."
  • Manage Blocked Contacts: You can view and manage your blocked contacts in your account settings, ensuring your Veetz Connect experience remains positive and professional.
