The Beginning: Our Roots with Vetnnet (2008)​

Our journey began in 2008, when IVATEC (then operating under a different name) launched Vetnnet. It was a Windows desktop application, designed from the ground up to automate veterinary clinics and pet shops across Brazil. At a time when digital management was still finding its footing, Vetnnet offered a robust, all-in-one solution for patient records, billing, and inventory.

For many veterinarians, Vetnnet was their first step into digital practice management. We worked side by side with clinics from day one — including in-person training sessions to help teams get the most out of the system. That closeness to the people who use our software is a habit we never lost.

The interface was a product of its time, but it was functional and comprehensive — helping clinics organize everything from appointments to complex financial controls.

As our vision grew, we rebranded to AnimalCode™. The new name reflected a broader ambition.
