The following Terms of Use ("TOU") apply to the use of the Veetz application (https://veetz.app) and any associated services. IVATEC reserves the right to update the TOU at any time, without prior notice. The most current version of the TOU can be accessed by clicking on the β€œTerms of Use” hyperlink located at the bottom of our web pages or directly in the application. By accessing or using Veetz, you agree to comply with these Terms, which take effect at the time of your first use of the application.

By registering and using the Veetz application, the user expresses their full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with the terms set forth herein, the use of the application should be immediately discontinued.

Modifications to the Terms and to the Service​

We may change these Terms of Use as necessary, and we may not always be able to notify beforehand. The date of the last update will always be available, and any changes will be communicated to users by email or by the most convenient means, at the discretion of IVATEC.

Continued use of the Veetz application after any changes to these Terms of Use implies automatic acceptance of the new conditions. If the user does not agree with the proposed changes, they must immediately cease using the application, following the guidelines specified in the β€œCancellation of Use” section.

Service Description​

The Veetz application, developed by IVATEC, is an integrated platform aimed at professionals and students in the veterinary field. Through our website (https://veetz.app) and mobile application, we offer access to a wide range of resources and services designed to support and enhance veterinary practice and study. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Educational Resources: Including interactive training tutorials, specialized documentation, and educational videos, aimed at promoting continuous professional development in the field of veterinary care.
  • Veterinary Management Tools: Advanced solutions for managing veterinary services, which facilitate appointment scheduling, treatment tracking, patient electronic medical records management, and communication with animal caretors.
  • Artificial Intelligence-Based Technology: Innovative tools that assist in diagnostic analysis, treatment optimization, and clinical decision-making, strengthening veterinary practice with cutting-edge technological support.
  • Communication Platforms: Dedicated spaces for the exchange of information and experiences among professionals and students, including discussion forums and integrated social networks.
  • Updates and Enhancements: Veetz is constantly evolving, with regular updates, enhancements of existing features, and the addition of new functionalities and digital services.

By using Veetz, you agree to the Terms of Use (TOU), which govern your interaction with all aspects of the service. These terms are subject to changes at the discretion of IVATEC, without prior notice, and the most current version can be accessed on our website and application.

Access and Registration​

To access Veetz, it is necessary to create an account on the official website (https://veetz.app), providing a valid email address owned by the user, as well as full name and a personal password.

How to Purchase and Cancel Your Subscription​

Purchasing the Subscription​

  • Where to Buy: You can only purchase Veetz licenses through our website or from authorized suppliers.

  • Questions About Payment: If you have questions about payments, please contact us by email at support@ivatec.net.

Cancellation​

Right to Cancel​

You have the right to cancel your subscription within 7 days after the confirmation of payment, without needing to provide a reason.

  • Cancellation through the Website/Application: You can cancel your subscription and stop future charges at any time through the website or application. Just access your account settings, choose the subscription cancellation option, and follow the instructions.
  • Inactivity: If you do not use Veetz for more than a year and do not have an active license, we may delete your account, notifying you 30 days in advance by email.

Multiple Subscription Offers and Plan Changes​

  • Subscription Offers and Plans: Variety of Plans: We offer different subscription plans, with prices and offers that may change. Conditions, feature availability, and compatibility vary by plan.
  • Changes to Plans: Prices and details of subscription plans may change. We will always inform you about significant changes, as required by law.

Subscription Billing Details​

Billing Model​

Veetz subscriptions are calculated based on the product package chosen and the number of users.

Here's what you need to know about our billing policy:

  • By Product (Package): The cost of the subscription varies according to the product package selected. Each package is designed to offer a specific set of functionalities and services aimed at professionals and students in the veterinary field.
  • By User: Billing is also based on the number of users who will have access to Veetz under the same subscription. This means that the final price may vary depending on how many members of your team or institution will need to use the app.
How It Works​

When you sign up, you will choose the product package you want and indicate the number of users.

The total value of the subscription will be calculated based on this information and clearly presented before the payment confirmation.

If you need to add more users or switch to a different package in the future, you can adjust your subscription as needed. Changes may result in billing adjustments.

Payment, Renewal, and Payment Failure​

  • Authorization for Charges: By providing a payment method, you authorize us to automatically charge the amount of the Veetz subscription, including taxes and fees, on a recurring basis until you cancel.
  • Update and Verification: You can change your payment method at any time through your Veetz account. We or our payment service will verify your payment method, which may include a pre-authorization.
  • Payment Expiration: If your payment method expires and you do not update or cancel the subscription before automatic renewal, we will attempt to continue the charge.
  • Payment Failure: If we are unable to process a payment due to the lack of a valid payment method, your subscription may be suspended or canceled without notice.

Warranties and Liabilities​

Operational Warranty​

We commit to doing our best to ensure that Veetz operates correctly and is available when you need it. But we know that technical problems can occur, and sometimes the app may go offline or not function as expected. This does not mean we are breaking our promise to you, but we want you to know that we are always working to minimize these situations.

What Is Covered​

We strive to keep Veetz free from defects in design and operation, within what is reasonably possible. This means we work to provide an app that you can rely on for your veterinary needs.

What Is Not Covered​

  • Problems caused by the equipment on which Veetz is used, such as hardware failures or inadequate configuration.
  • Issues arising from third-party software, operating system updates, viruses, or malware.
  • Interruptions or performance problems linked to internet infrastructure or cloud service provider, such as AWS.
  • Specific customizations or personalized reports, unless we have agreed on this with you separately.

Limitations of Liability​

We understand that problems with Veetz can be frustrating, but we cannot be responsible for:

  • Damages or losses caused by interruptions or failures that are beyond our control, such as third-party infrastructure issues or hardware failures.
  • Improper use of Veetz by users.
  • Conflicts caused by unrelated software affecting the performance of Veetz.

Third-Party Infrastructure​

Veetz is hosted on cloud servers of renowned companies, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS). The availability of Veetz also depends on the stability and performance of these services. While we choose trusted partners and manage these services carefully, specific issues with these providers can affect Veetz, and in those cases, we will do our best to resolve them, but some situations are beyond our direct control.

Use of Artificial Intelligence​

IVATEC incorporates Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies in the Veetz app with the goal of assisting and enriching the decision-making process by veterinary professionals and providing support to pet owners in caring for their pets. However, it is important to highlight that:

Veterinarians are fully responsible for the care and treatment of animals.

AI is provided as a support tool and should not be used as the sole source for diagnostics or clinical decisions. The final decision and responsibility for the treatment and well-being of the animal rest with the qualified professional, who must use their professional clinical judgment in all circumstances.

Limitation of Liability​

IVATEC and the Veetz app cannot be held responsible for errors, inaccuracies, or failures in the results provided by AI-based functionalities, nor for decisions made based on this information. AI technology is subject to limitations and should be used as one among several support tools available to the veterinary professional and the animal caretaker.

By using Veetz, users acknowledge and agree that the application of AI is provided "as is," for support purposes and does not replace the need for independent professional evaluation, judgment, and decision. Users agree not to hold IVATEC, its affiliates, or the Veetz app liable for any consequences, direct or indirect, arising from the use of AI-based functionalities.

User Conduct and Use of Veetz Social Network​

IVATEC provides Veetz users with a social network platform for sharing information, experiences, and mutual support among professionals and enthusiasts in the veterinary field. To

Prohibition of False or Misleading Content: It is strictly prohibited to post or disseminate information that is false, misleading, inaccurate, or that may mislead other users.

Restriction on Misleading Advertising​

The use of the social network to promote products or services through misleading advertising, unfair market practices, or any form of advertising that is not in compliance with applicable consumer protection laws is not allowed.

Use of Appropriate Language​

All users are expected to express themselves in a respectful manner, avoiding the use of inappropriate, offensive, discriminatory terms, or any form that may cause discomfort or embarrassment to other community members.

Consequences for Violations​

IVATEC reserves the right to take appropriate disciplinary actions against any user who violates these guidelines. Such measures may include, but are not limited to:

  • Formal warning to the offending user;
  • Temporary or permanent removal of the offensive content;
  • Temporary or permanent suspension of the user's access to the Veetz social network;
  • Referral to competent authorities in cases of serious or recurrent violations.

By using the Veetz social network, users agree to adhere to these guidelines and acknowledge that IVATEC will act to preserve the integrity and positive purpose of the platform, protecting it against abuses.

Respecting Copyrights and Trademarks in Veetz​

Content Protection​

All content in Veetz, including features, texts, images, and design, is protected by copyright, patent, and trademark laws. This means that this content is for the exclusive use of Veetz users for personal and non-commercial purposes. Please do not:

  • DO NOT Share or display Veetz content in public or to commercial audiences.
  • DO NOT Modify, copy, distribute, or use the content of Veetz in a way that violates our copyright or intellectual property rights.

Use of Our Trademarks​

The trademarks and logos of Veetz are our visual identities and are protected by law. Using them without our permission, except as necessary to use Veetz as intended, is not allowed.

Data Protection and Use​

Data is subject to monitoring to ensure that use is in compliance with our terms and to constantly improve the app. Blocking the transmission of this data goes against our terms and may lead to the cancellation of your access to Veetz.

If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, or if your copyrights have been in any way violated by Veetz, we want to know. Please contact us by email at support@ivatec.net with the following information:

  • Your name, address, telephone, and email.
  • A description of the protected work that you believe has been infringed.
  • The exact location in Veetz where you found the work in question.
  • A statement that you believe, in good faith, that the disputed use was not authorized.
  • Your signature (physical or digital) and a statement from you that the information provided in the notification is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

How to Get Support​

If you encounter any problems with Veetz, we are here to help.

Please contact us by email at support@ivatec.net with the following information to expedite service:

  • Identification Number (ID) of your account: This helps us quickly locate your profile.
  • Description of the Problem: Tell us what is happening and how we can help. Include which part of the app is affected.
  • How to Replicate: Tell us how we can reproduce the problem. This helps us understand what is happening.
  • Additional Information: Any detail you find relevant for us to solve your problem.

Service Hours​

Our technical support is available from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on local holidays. We will do our best to respond to all requests within this period.

Response Time​

We strive to respond to all support requests within 48 business hours. If we need more time to resolve your issue, we will inform you of the progress and the estimated time for resolution.

Note​

Remember that support is offered only via email. Keep your email updated in your Veetz account to ensure you receive our communications.

Application Maintenance​

Periodically, we update Veetz to add new features and fix bugs. If an update is necessary to resolve your issue, we will provide detailed instructions on how to proceed. All updates will be announced and made available on our official website.

Final Provisions of Using Veetz​

User Responsibility​

By using Veetz, you assume full responsibility for the content you enter and the actions you perform in the app.

This means that any consequences arising from these actions or content entered by you are your responsibility, not VEETZ's.

Limitation of Liability​

VEETZ, as the provider of the app,

is not responsible for damages or losses that may occur due to the use of Veetz. Our role is to provide the app, but how you use it is your decision.

Violation of Terms​

If you violate any part of these Terms of Use, we may cancel your account. This is to ensure the safety and integrity of Veetz for all users.

Intellectual Property​

Everything you see in Veetz, from the design to the graphic elements, is protected by copyright and is the exclusive property of VEETZ. Using or copying these elements without our permission is prohibited.

Prohibited Use​

The use of tools to mine data, or the introduction of viruses or any other malicious code that could damage, interfere with, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to Veetz is not allowed. Also prohibited is any attempt to copy or modify the app's code.

Audits​

To ensure that everyone is following the rules, we may conduct periodic audits. This helps us keep Veetz safe and in compliance with laws and regulations.

Agreement with the Terms​

This document is a contract between you and IVATEC TI. By using Veetz, you agree to all the terms set forth here. If there is something you do not understand or do not agree with, please contact us at support@ivatec.net before continuing to use the app.

Jurisdiction Selection​

By this terms of use, the user acknowledges and expressly agrees that, to resolve any controversies, disputes, or claims of any nature that may arise, directly or indirectly, from the use of the Veetz application, the interpretation, breach, termination, or validity of this terms of use or any aspects related to the use of the application, the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the City of BrasΓ­lia, Federal District, Brazil, will be selected.

This choice reflects the parties' decision to submit such matters to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in BrasΓ­lia-DF, waiving any other forum that, now or in the future, may be considered more convenient or appropriate due to domicile, residence, or any other criterion. Such waiver expressly includes any argument based on geographical convenience or other legal prerogative that may favor the application user to the detriment of the jurisdiction herein chosen.

This jurisdiction selection agreement aims to provide predictability and legal security for both parties, facilitating the effective and centralized resolution of disputes, ensuring that all parties have prior knowledge of the location where any litigations will be adjudicated.

By accepting this terms of use, the user confirms their understanding and unrestricted agreement with this jurisdiction selection clause, recognizing it as fair and appropriate to the relations established by the use of the Veetz application, regardless of their place of residence or access to the service.
