Veetz Community Guidelines
note
Last updated: January 15, 2024
Welcome to the Veetz Community, a space dedicated to connecting veterinarians, pet owners, and academics in a platform for professional information exchange regarding treatments, medication usage, and other topics relevant to animal care. To ensure a positive and constructive experience for everyone, we have established the following guidelines:
Mutual Respect
- Treat all members with respect and courtesy. Disrespectful, offensive, or discriminatory comments will not be tolerated.
- Value different opinions and perspectives, fostering an environment of learning and knowledge exchange.
Professional Integrity
- Share information and knowledge based on evidence and proven practices. Avoid disseminating unverified or potentially harmful information.
- Respect the confidentiality and privacy of patients (animals) and their owners. Do not disclose sensitive information without appropriate consent.
Responsible Use of Information
- When discussing treatments and medications, always emphasize the importance of supervision by a qualified professional. Remember that the app does not replace in-person veterinary consultation.
- Encourage citing reliable sources when sharing studies, research, or scientific articles.
Prohibition of Excessive Advertising
- While we recognize the importance of sharing resources and services, excessive advertising or spam will be removed to maintain focus on the community's educational and support objectives.
Addressing Violations
- Violations of our guidelines may result in actions such as warning, temporary suspension, or even permanent banning from the community.
- We encourage members to report behaviors that violate our guidelines using the reporting channels available in the app.
Changes to Guidelines
- Veetz reserves the right to modify these guidelines at any time to better reflect the community's needs and ensure a safe and respectful environment for everyone.
