Create an event type

Event types are the options under Service when booking, such as Surgery or Grooming. veetz comes with standard types; create your own for the rest.

Before you begin​

  • You need permission to manage the calendar.

Steps​

  1. In the left menu, click Calendar, then Event types.
  2. Click Add New.
  3. Type the Name and a Code. Both are required, and the code cannot repeat.
  4. Set the Default duration (minutes), and choose a Color and an Icon to recognize it in the calendar.
  5. Turn on Requires a professional if the appointment always needs someone in charge, and Blocks the agenda by default if the time must show as busy.
  6. Click Save.

Done​

You see the message "The event type is available in the calendar." It appears under Service in new appointments.

Standard types cannot be removed. You can change their color, icon and duration.
