Request an exam

Before you begin

• The patient must be registered.
• The exam type must be in the catalog.

Steps

1. In the left menu, click Exams, then Request exam. You can also request from the patient record: Exams → Request exam.
2. Choose the Animal and the Exam type.
3. Choose the Priority: routine, priority or urgent.
4. Fill in the Specimen and the Clinical indication if needed.
5. Click Request.

Done

The exam enters the laboratory queue, in Exams → Exam requests, and appears in the Exams section of the patient record.
