Sell a kit

When you choose an item that has a kit during a sale, veetz shows every kit item so you can check them before adding.

Before you begin

Steps

  1. At the point of sale or in the quick sale, search for the main item and click it.
  2. A window shows the kit: the Main item, the other items with quantity and price, and the Total.
  3. To sell more than one kit, use + and − next to the quantity. All items follow.
  4. Check the stock tags: Reserved from stock or No stock: on order.
  5. Click Add kit.

Done

A message shows the kit name and how many items were added. In the sale, each item appears on its own line with the kit tag, and you take the payment as usual.

Good to know:

  • If the kit includes a service, veetz asks for the animal once, for the whole kit.
  • You can change a kit item's quantity, price or discount, or remove an item. The kit then shows Customized.
  • To take out the whole kit, click Remove kit on one of its lines and confirm. All its items leave together.
  • Prices are the catalog prices at the time of sale.

If something goes wrong

  • "The kit cannot be added": the window lists the item with a problem and why, such as Out of stock at this company, No sale price or Not published in the catalog. Fix the item in the catalog or stock and try again.
  • "This item no longer has an active kit": someone turned the kit off while you were selling. Close the window and add the item again: it goes in on its own.
