Give a discount or change a price

Before you begin

• Discounts depend on your permission. If you can see the discount but not change it, ask someone authorized.

Discount on one item

1. At the Point of Sale, click the item in the sale to select it.
2. Click the arrow next to Save, then Price and discount.
3. Change the Unit price, or choose the Discount type and type the Discount value.
4. Fill in the reason, in Reason for price change or Reason for discount.
5. Click Apply.

Discount on the whole sale

Click the arrow next to Save, then Discount all items. Choose the type, the value and the reason, and click Apply to all items.

Done

The sale totals update right away. The reason is recorded with the sale.

To undo, use Remove selected item discount or Remove all discounts in the same menu.
