Change a photo or avatar

The same photo tool appears in the record of patients, clients, breeders, products and suppliers, in the clinic logo, in your profile picture, and in vaccines and manufacturers.

Before you begin​

  • Save the record first. The photo belongs to a saved record.
  • Images up to 5 MB.

Steps​

  1. Open the record. The photo is at the top of the side menu (in your profile, at Account Settings → Profile Picture).
  2. Use one of the buttons under the photo:
    • Upload photo (upload icon) to choose an image from the computer or phone.
    • Capture photo (camera icon) to take a picture now.
    • Choose an Ivatar (smiley icon) to pick a ready-made illustration, then click Use this Ivatar.
  3. When the Reframe photo window opens, drag the image to position it and use Zoom in and Zoom out, or pinch on the phone.
  4. Click Save.

Done​

The new photo appears in the record and wherever that record is shown, such as the patient list. Photos of deceased animals are shown in gray.

To adjust a photo you already saved, click Reframe photo (crop icon).

If something goes wrong​

  • "The selected image is too large": choose an image smaller than 5 MB.
