Attaching Financial Documents
A service agreement here, an invoice there, the receipt somewhere in an email — financial paperwork scatters fast. Veetz keeps every document attached to the account it belongs to, so when you need the contract behind a plan or proof of a receipt, it is one click away, inside the receivable itself.
Where Documents Live
Open an account from the Accounts receivable list and go to the Private documents section. Everything attached to that account is listed there, and new documents are added from the same place.
Documents attached to an account are private to your workspace. They are there for your team's reference — contracts, invoices, proofs — and are not shared publicly.
Attaching a Document
- In the Private documents section, choose the Document type that best describes the file: Invoice, Bill, Contract, Receipt, Settlement proof, or Other.
- Click the file selector and pick the file from your device.
- Veetz uploads it and it appears in the list, showing its file name and size.
Accepted files: PDF, Word, Excel, TXT, and images (JPG, PNG, WEBP), up to 3 MB each. If a file is the wrong type or too large, Veetz warns: "The document could not be attached. Check its type and size."
Uploading, downloading, and removing documents need an internet connection, and the account must have completed its first synchronization. If you are offline, reconnect and try again.
Downloading and Removing
Each document in the list has two actions:
- Download — opens or saves the original file to your device.
- Delete — removes the document from the account. Veetz asks you to confirm with "Are you sure you want to remove this document?" before it is removed.
What to Attach
A well-kept account usually carries:
- the contract or service agreement, for plans and ongoing work;
- the invoice or bill for the charge;
- the receipt or settlement proof, once the money comes in.
Attaching the contract when you register the account — and the proof when you receive — means the full story of each account lives in one place.
