Organize products

• Categories group the catalog, such as Medications, Food or Services. Every product needs one.
• Manufacturers are the brands.
• Product lines group products of a manufacturer and define the attributes of their presentations, such as size or flavor.

Steps

1. In the left menu, click Settings, then Products.
2. In the side menu, under Auxiliary tables, click Categories, Manufacturers or Product Lines.
3. Click Add New, type the Name and click Save.
4. For a product line, also choose the Manufacturer. After saving, add the Variant Attributes that the presentations will use, such as "Size" with the allowed values "1 kg, 3 kg, 10 kg".

Done

The new category, manufacturer or line can be chosen in the product record.
