Attaching Financial Documents

An invoice here, a bank slip there, the payment proof somewhere in an email — financial paperwork scatters fast. Veetz keeps every document attached to the bill it belongs to, so when you need proof of a purchase or a payment, it is one click away, inside the account itself.

Where Documents Live

Open a bill from the Accounts payable list and go to the Documents tab. Everything attached to that bill is listed there, and new documents are added from the same place.

Your documents stay private

Documents attached to a bill are private to your workspace. They are there for your team's reference — invoices, proofs, contracts — and are not shared publicly.

Attaching a Document

  1. On the Documents tab, choose the Document type that best describes the file: Invoice, Bill, Contract, Receipt, Payment proof, or Other.
  2. Click the file selector and pick the file from your device.
  3. Veetz uploads it and it appears in the list, showing its File name, Document type, and Size.

Accepted files: PDF, Word, Excel, TXT, and images (JPG, PNG, WEBP), up to 3 MB each. The screen shows this reminder right next to the selector: "PDF, Word, Excel, TXT or images up to 3 MB."

Attaching documents requires a connection

Uploading, downloading, and removing documents need an internet connection. If you are offline, reconnect and try again.

Downloading and Removing

Each document in the list has two actions:

  • Download — opens or saves the original file to your device.
  • Delete — removes the document from the bill. Veetz asks you to confirm with "Are you sure you want to remove this document?" before it is removed.

What to Attach

A tidy bill usually carries:

  • the invoice or bill for the purchase;
  • the bank slip to be paid;
  • the contract, for recurring services;
  • the receipt or payment proof, once it is settled.

Attaching these at the moment you register the bill — and the proof when you pay — means the full story of each expense lives in one place.
