Customer Credit: The Store Wallet
Some clients like to leave money with the clinic: a deposit for a surgery, a package paid upfront, change converted into balance for the next visit. Veetz keeps this as customer credit — a prepaid wallet per client, with a full statement, one-click use at checkout, and cash withdrawal when the client wants the money back.
Where the Balance Lives
- On the client's record: the Customer credit card shows the Available store credit and the button View statement and manage credit, which opens the credit dialog.
- At the point of sale: when the client is identified, the available balance is displayed next to their name.
- In the receiving dialog: a Use customer credit button appears with the available amount whenever the client has balance.
The Credit Dialog
The dialog opens showing the Available customer credit at the top, and offers three tabs: Deposit, Withdraw, and Statement.
Deposit
Adding money to the wallet is a receipt like any other:
- Amount: how much the client is depositing;
- Payment method: how the client is paying for the deposit — Pix, cash, card, and so on;
- For cash, Amount tendered and Change work exactly as in a sale receipt — and an open cash register is required.
Click Deposit credit to confirm.
Without internet, the deposit is saved on the device and synchronizes when the connection returns. Until it is confirmed, it does not add to the available balance — the dialog marks it clearly: "The offline deposit is pending synchronization and is not available for use yet."
Withdraw
When the client wants money back from the wallet:
- Amount: how much to return;
- Reason: always required;
- Click Withdraw credit in cash.
The dialog reminds you: "Cash withdrawal requires an open cash register and internet connection." The money leaves the drawer, so the movement is also reflected in the cash session.
Statement
The complete history of the wallet, entry by entry:
- Date, Type (deposit, use in a sale, refund, withdrawal), Amount, Balance after the entry, and Reason;
- Sale: when the entry consumed balance in a receipt, an Open sale link takes you straight to that sale;
- Export and Print buttons for sharing or archiving the statement.
Using Credit at Checkout
In the receiving dialog, click Use customer credit — Veetz adds a payment line consuming the balance, up to the remaining amount of the sale. The client covers the rest with any other method, in the same receipt.
Using, and withdrawing, customer credit requires an internet connection — this is what guarantees the balance is current and can never be spent twice, even with two cashiers serving the same family at the same time. If the balance is not enough for the amount requested, the receipt is refused and the balance shown is refreshed.
Next Steps
- Receiving a Payment — applying credit alongside other payment methods.
- The Cash Register Session — cash deposits and withdrawals pass through the drawer.
- Refunds and Corrections — when a payment, not the wallet, must be returned.
