Exploring Payments and Daily Totals

"How much came in today? And how much of it was Pix?" The Payments screen answers this without a calculator: every payment received, filters by method and period, and confirmed totals broken down by payment method.

  1. On the left-hand sidebar, click Sales.
  2. Click Payments.

The header offers the standard explorer actions: go back, refresh, export, and print.

Filtering the Period

  • Payment method: focus on a single method — for example, only Cash to conference the drawer, or only Credit card to compare with the card machine.
  • From / To: any date range.
  • Quick shortcuts: Today, Last 7 days, This month.

Reading the Totals

The Confirmed in the period panel adds up every confirmed payment of the filtered period, method by method: cash, Pix, credit card, debit card, bank transfer, voucher, customer credit. This is the number to compare with the drawer, the card machine report, and the bank statement.

Very large periods

The totals consider the first 1000 payments of the period. For a very busy month, filter by shorter ranges — week by week, for example — to keep totals exact.

The Payments List

Each row shows:

  • Date — when the payment happened;
  • Payment method;
  • Status — Pending, Confirmed, Failed, or Cancelled;
  • Amount;
  • Document — what the payment refers to: the sale number (with a link to the sale), a customer credit movement, or Not linked;
  • Actions — including Refund.

An empty list shows "No payments found" — payments recorded at checkout appear here as they are made.

Pending is not lost

A Pending payment is usually a receipt made offline that has not synchronized yet. When the connection returns, it becomes Confirmed on its own — see Working Offline.

Starting a Refund from Here

Found the payment that needs to go back? Click Refund on its row: the refund dialog opens with the payment identified, asking for the Refund amount and the Reason. The complete flow is described in Refunds and Corrections.
