Add species, breeds and other attributes

The options you pick in a patient record, such as species, breed, color or size, come from tables in the clinical settings.

Steps​

  1. In the left menu, click Settings, then Clinical Settings.
  2. Under Patient Attributes, choose the table: Species & Classification, Breed Details, Color Profiles, Size Types, Gender Types, Fur types, Coat patterns, Ear types, Tail types, Behavior types, Habitat types, Conservation statuses, Diet types, Activity patterns, Reproduction types, Permit types or Specimen use types.
  3. Click Add New, type the Name and click Save.

Done​

The new option appears in the patient record. You can also add one on the spot, with the + next to the field in the record.
