Get an email when someone books on your schedule
Get an email when someone else adds an appointment to your schedule. Each person turns this on for themselves.
Before you begin
- Sign in with your own user.
- Check the email in your profile: that is where the notice goes. See Update your profile.
Steps
- In the main menu, click Settings. If you are inside another area, first click the ← arrow at the top of the left menu until you are back on the dashboard.
- Click Application Settings.
- Under My email notifications, turn on Email me when someone adds an appointment to my schedule.
Done
The switch stays on. Whenever another user creates a new future appointment for you, you get an email.
Good to know:
- The setting is personal and starts turned off.
- The notice goes to the professional named in the appointment.
- Appointments you create for yourself do not send this notice.
- It works even for appointments with no client or animal.
- It does not depend on the business notices or on any client authorization.
Example: Ana creates an appointment on Bruno's schedule. If Bruno turned the setting on, he gets the notice at the email in his profile. Any notice to the client follows the client's own rules.
If something goes wrong
- "Email delivery is not available yet.": the switch can't be turned on until sending is enabled for your account. You can still turn it off.
- No email arrived: see I did not get the email.
